Emanouela Emilova Merdjanova

Emanouela graduate The National Ballet School in Bulgaria and has

been a professional ballet dancer for over 25 years. She worked in

National Opera and Ballet of Sofia /Bulgaria , Jeune Ballet du France,

Ballet du Capitol Toulouse /France, Finnish National Ballet and The

Dutch National Ballet where she stayed the longest and work her way up

from the rank of Corps de ballet to the rank of Soloist. Emanouela work

with many of the leading ballet choreographers like Natalia Makarova ,

Alexei Ratmanski , Hans van Manen , Rudi van Dantzig, Christopher

Wheeldon , Krzystof Pastor , Wayne Eagling , sir Peter Wright , Frank

Andersen etc.

Her Repertoire include :

-Leading role of Clara , Lead Flower waltz , Lead snow flex in

Nutcracker from Wayne Eagling and Toer van Schayk

- Leading role of Aurora and Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty from Javier

Torres and Sir Peter Wright

-Leading role of Shostakovich Trilogy and Souvenir d’un lieu Cher from

Alexei Ratmanski

-Leading role in Les Sylphides from Rachel Beaujean

As well as many other soloist roles in ballet like Swan Lake, Giselle ,

Bayadere , Don Quixote , Cinderella , many ballet from George

Balanchine , William Forsythe , Cathy Marston and others.

Next to her dancing Emanouela obtain ballet teaching Diploma from

Vaganova academy in Amsterdam , Polstar Pilates Comprehensive

education , and Nutrition Certificate authorised from Stanford University.

During season 2019-2020 Emanouela was teaching regularly ballet

classes for the Junior company of Dutch National Ballet , and she was

also assisting as a ballet master.

During the same season of 2019-2020 till now Emanouela is a teacher in

The National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam.
